It is bound by the a priori geometry of spacetime and Einstein’s relativistic field equations. The mathematical formulas governing signal latency and orbital mechanics are mind-independent maps. They exist as unyielding logical constraints. Human engineers did not invent the mathematics of spacetime; they discovered an a priori law and built an apparatus within its limits. The Kantian a priori is the absolute, non-negotiable blueprint of possibility.

Look at the real-world history of Double-Entry Bookkeeping. In 1494, Luca Pacioli codified a mathematical map of balance, debt, and credit based on basic arithmetic principles. Over five centuries, that abstract mathematical logic was inscribed into corporate charters, paper ledgers, banking laws, swift wire systems, and digital stock exchanges.

Today, that 500-year-old math has hardened into a massive, global Mind-Dependent Territory. It is an artificial, built environment of financial institutions and economic rules that dictates how billions of human beings work, survive, and organize their lives.

When this engineer writes code, they are thrown into a sedimented Territory consisting of Unix operating systems, x86 instruction sets, Python syntax, and AWS cloud infrastructures. The engineer did not choose these layers; they are the historical sediment of past human decisions. The Territory presents itself to the engineer as an inescapable, objective reality.

Yet, why does that software Territory function at all? Because every single layer of that sedimented Territory was constructed in strict obedience to the Kantian a priori Map of binary logic and mathematical information theory.

To mistake the sedimented Territory for an unchangeable law of nature is the ultimate existential error—what Heidegger termed Inauthenticity. The physical highways, cloud server networks, financial systems, and state apparatuses we are thrown into are not eternal laws of God; they are merely historical sediments of mind-dependent construction.

However, to attempt to alter or transcend that Territory without grounding your work in the universal, Kantian a priori Map is pure delusion. You cannot overthrow an old technological territory with wishful thinking; you can only supersede a sedimented Territory by returning to the unyielding, mind-independent laws of logic, mathematics, and nature, and using them to sediment a new world.
